Dennis Hancock
I spent my first night sleeping on the streets when I was 8 years old. From 10 years old I was in and out of foster care and sleeping on the streets. In the cold, in the dark and in despair. my|place youth housing took me in when all I had was charity. The best part about my|place was one of the volunteers hung out with me every week and still does, giving me his time when my own family won’t.
my|place youth housing -“ Embracing and guiding young lives on a path to future success. ..”
my|place
my|place youth housing provides semi-independent accommodation for homeless youth aged 16-25 years old.
my|place supports, develops and empowers young people to participate in their community and equips them to break from the cycle of youth homelessness into independence.
